  1. @miriamfanz: Thanks for sharing your picks! I actually think most of your picks are right on the money, though of course, since this is TVB and we know all their awards shows are rigged in some manner, it could turn out that someone totally undeserving gets thrown in there. As with past years, I'm not excited about the awards at all and probably won't even bother with a recap, since I barely watched any of the series this year and unlike in previous years, there is no one for me to root for this year (though if I had to choose one person, it would probably be Jimmy Au, but mostly because I've always liked him as an actor and want him to get something for his cumulative work, since I didn't care for The Unholy Alliance at all so didn't watch most of it). I guess we will see this weekend whether TVB pulls a bunch of upsets or actually goes with the audiences' picks for once...

    1. It gets harder and harder to make picks each year since I watch so few of the series. I've probably watched less than five series this year (and one of them was the decade-old Phoenix Rising, which was actually my fav of the year).
