Alice Chan married to Malaysia for the riches, but after incurring massive debt, she has no choice but to return to Hong Kong to live with her niece Eliza Sam. They have frequent disagreements because of their polar opposite personalities. When Alice finds out that her brother's fruit stall is encroached on by Tommy Wong and his nephew Raymond Wong, she begins using a series of hard and soft-ball tactics to take the property back, creating many jokes and crises.
